Tomorrow I’ll start 31 days of illustrations, one each day. Because illustrating is the thing I long to do most. But I don’t.
I keep seeing things, thinking things. Interesting things, funny things, beautiful things, profound things.
But I refrain from putting them on paper. Because expectations, perfectionism, first step to world domination and the universal impossibility of drawing a cat.
So, come tomorrow, I will throw all caution in the wind. All dragged feet will be cut off and I’ll just go where my eyes and my pencil take me. Not worrying about content (it’s here anyway) or style (it won’t be here for a while anyway)
